• Very comfortable beds.
• Poor water pressure.

“Nice beds with a recliner chair, this is a good hotel for the business traveler to unwind in. The water pressure here is low, but capable of rinsing thick hair with a little effort. The Kitchen area has very little counter space and the room is a little smaller than the competition has, but I cannot say strongly enough, what a comfortable bed.”

• Good price for a room with a kitchen, comfortable bed, plenty of space.
• Found roaches in room I booked but they moved me to a different room.

“Big motel in a quiet area and 2 restaurants in walking distance- Cracker Barrel and Chili's. Comfortable bed with plenty of space. Found roaches in the room I booked but staff moved me right away.”

• Price and location.

“This is the 2nd time I've stayed here. First time the toilet got stopped up and no one was available to fix it. This time the lights by the bead didn't work and again there was no to fix it.”

• The internet access was dial-up and didn't work most of the time.

“I had an unpleasant stay from check in until check out. The internet access is antiquated. The dial-up modems should be replaced with wireless, as most other hotels offer now. The dial-up access was unreliable and not compatible with my laptop. Staff assistance was nonexistent. There wasn't a TV channel guide in the room. Three days of flipping through channels became frustrating. The hotel was reluctant to return my cash deposit when I checked out, although I had not purchased any incidentals. The desk clerk claimed she had already returned the deposit, which she hadn't. It probably went into her pocket. The nonsmoking floor reeked of stale cigarette odor. Being a nonsmoker, the smell was offensive and quite unpleasant.”

• The accommodations and the full sized fridge.
• No room service until the end of the week, so trash can filled up quick.

“I've traveled all over the US and this is the first time I've stayed at Candlewood Suites. It would easily be one of the cleaner and more comfortable extended stay type hotels I've visited.”

• Had a full size fridge.
• Everything.

“When I drove up to the hotel I passed some pretty well known hotels and thought, 'this will be nice', but I WAS WRONG! It was the only hotel that had their outside lights off so unloading the luggage was very uncomfortable at night in the dark. I brought my luggage in on a cart that would barely roll. While walking down the hallway I was greeted by a fresh aroma of cannabis and loud music. The room was dirty, towels dirty, bed/furniture dirty! It was really cold and the heat wasn't all that great. I called the front desk for some blankets and I Quote, "We don't have any extra blankets, but I will call you back if I find an empty room that I can take a blanket from. NO CALL BACK! FROZE! The carpet between bathroom and room was chewed up and a nail was hanging out. They only had VHS movies to rent and I think Power Rangers was the best one they had. Didn't get any maid service the next morning but that was probably good due to the fact I might have been missing a few things afterwards. Please don't stay here if you care about your personal hygiene or wellbeing.”

“The rooms weren't rooms, they were efficiencies! What a pleasant surprise. It was clean and comfortable. The added benefit of the free internet was icing an an already delicious cake!”

• Close to the highway. Safe area of town.
• My room deadbolt did not work.

“I would stay at this hotel again just not this room. My dead bolt would not close it did not line up with the door. 2 lights were burnt out and the room was hot the cooling system was not working. It was cool outside so I opened the window and slept that way. When I asked about getting the lock fixed they said the person only works in the day time and they would come by @ 8 am. They did not come by so I reminded them when I checked out @ 11am. If I was really worried I would have asked for another room. I liked the hotel they had free internet and free laundry. The bed was brand new so were the sheets and covers the room was very clean and the maids seemed to be working very hard.”

• I loved the room and especially the bed. It was better than my bed at home. And free videos rentals & the idea of the Wednesday Grill for the guests.
• I would have liked there to be a computer available for the guests to log on to.

“I loved this place. It surpassed my expectations. They even gave us free complimentary soda. The full kitchen was great and we actually did cook in the room. If you go on a Wednesday you get free good from the grill.”

• Convenient to have refrigerator, stove, sink, and microwave in room.
• Front desk is not always manned.

“Convenient location off Rt. 295 and TPK. Spacious room, comfortable bed, VCR/DVD player. No restaurant but cracker barrel is nearby as well as other restaurants. Great value for the money.”

“We stayed at this hotel during the Labor Day weekend and experience staffs were not working. We had to wait for linen when we arrived and the carpet in the room was grossly filthy. We walked in with white socks and after walking around the room the socks were literally black. I had to throw them away. There was no washing that could clean those socks. We actually went out to the store to purchase flip flops or sandals of some sort because we didn't want to walk on the floor with our bare feet. We had to change rooms after unpacking our belongings because our air condition was broken and there was no remote for the TV. We were moved into a handicap accessible room where the racks in the closets were very low and my dresses hung on the floor. I didn't want to complain because the room was bigger in size than the one we were originally in. My expectations for this hotel were much higher than what the hotel actually offered. I was disappointed, but I determined to make the two day stay as pleasant as possible.”
