“I checked in at 11 pm. I noticed a musty odor upon entering. When I got to my room the key did not work. It happened that the door was broken and had to be kicked in with great force to open. The room smelled like mold and mildew. The rug was damp, the decor not changed for more than two decades and the bathroom, filthy with hair in the tub and toilet. The AC was broken and there was a big dehumidifier in the room, presumably to try and get rid of the moisture. The entire hotel looked worn and unclean. I checked out first thing in the morning and got another hotel. I later heard rumors they had been in bankruptcy and that there were cases of Legionnaire's disease there in the recent past. What a shame as it used to be a nice hotel.”

“We had a pleasant experience here. Please don't expect high end bedding or marble bathrooms, but it was spacious, well kept, and large "courtyard" style layout. The huge fireplace lobby was surrounded by a balcony with rooms off each floor. Lots of seating in the lobby area with chess tables etc. Several guests had their doors open giving the place a friendly, informal quality that was quite nice! Request a room away from lobby/hearth area if you are a very light sleeper. Super nice staff.”

“Must have been nice in its former days, needs major renovations, stuck in time, stinks, bathroom not clean with hair on floor, pillow cases had hair, dark room, no good light. Just a bad night.”

“Staff was nice but not impressed with accommodations since this was supposed to be a 3 star hotel.”

“Perhaps a good one star economy hotel. Definitely not a 3 1/2 star.”

“Would not recommend staying unless I were traveling with kids and needed a low budget facility. Water pressure in the shower war great.”

“The hotel staff was very accommodating. They put a rush on cleaning my room so they I was able to able to check in 3 hours early. The rooms were dated, but since it is a ski resort with a lot of wet boots, it is hard to keep carpet fresh looking. Overall, it was fine for what we were looking for.”

“Convenient location. Clean, though somewhat dated decor. Friendly staff (with one exception). Overall, was good value for the price?”

“The only aspect that the hotel should be concerned about is the general condition of the bathroom. This was a guy trip. If I would have had my wife along her would not have been happy. For the brief amount of time we spent at the hotel my rating is fair.”

“The curtain was a very nice hotel. The rooms were clean and each room was decorated differently. The staff was friendly and helpful whenever we asked for assistance. I plan on staying there again the next time I return to Killington for a skiing trip.”

“Overall, I would stay at this hotel in a heartbeat. The location was convenient and their directions were accurate. The room itself was clean and well stocked with the needs of most travelers. The pool and health club were clean and very attractive. The only issue I had was intermittent internet access.”

“The hotel tries to do too much and fails at most things, particularly at its basic purpose to provide a decent room. While the location includes a pool, saunas, two restaurants (one casual), and other amenities, the over-all quality certainly doesn't warrant a 3-star rating.”

“The Cortina Hotel definitely has charm. We stayed in a cute room that had a log cabin room with bunk beds for the children. Nice clientèle, nice pool great pasta bar on Friday and Saturday nights. The lobby is really nice. The only disappointing part was the bathrooms and towels. Bath and pool towels are really small and old. The pool towels were more like small hotel bath mats than towels. Bathrooms were very small and definitely outdated. Needs updating now! Otherwise, rooms and hotel were charming.”

“Perfect for families, especially who ski at Killing ton, very accommodating, lots of places to roam around in, downstairs game room, TVs, pool, sitting areas.”

“The Cortina Inn was easy to find. The room was OK, but the entire hotel has a musty smell. I stayed with my daughter 1-1/2 and my mother. We left early, but of course leaving at 6 they didn't allow a refund on the 2nd night. The description of the hotel led us to believe there were biking trails nearby-and some images of THIS hotel showed a lake and a mt. bike. Well, there were NO biking trails nearby-even at the state park down the highway, no bikes allowed. The purpose of the trip was to ride bikes, so it was a total waste. I've waited years to take a trip, so very disappointed with this experience. Also, since Hotel Representatives:
