“We were in a room without AC ventilation due to a malfunction. As it was late we did not call the desk but it was very uncomfortable. When we mentioned it in the morning, at check-out, we felt less than comforted by the response. Rooms should be checked prior to service as this has happened to us before in this particular Hotel.”

“This hotel is good if you just want to get away for a quick weekend with the kids. There is an amusement park just 8 mins away it was great. If you stay there you may want to check out dottiest diner the food is great breakfast and lunch only.”

“If you request a room away from the highway it is very quiet. The location is very accessible from East and West. Breakfast buffet for $10 was very good. Coffee and cookies in afternoon was a nice touch but would have been more welcome earlier in the day. (Not available till 5pm).”

“The hotel was recently renovated but it locks warmth and the welcoming feeling. The lobby looks cold with marble floor and dark wood panels at front desk area. There is only couple of chair in the lobby so it is not inviting to gather. One restaurant nearly empty and a bar. There supposed to be a pool but we were not able to find it and did not bother to ask. The room we were in was very spacious and very well equipped for business traveler but not really suitable for a romantic getaway or family. The hotel is too close to the highway. Again convenient for business traveler not so for other travelers. Our second floor room had a charming view of the parking lot and the already mentioned highway. The noise of the highway could be easily heard in the room. At night the drapes somehow muffled the noise enough so it did not create problem with sleeping. The TV remote was very hard to operate, the buttons were getting stuck. The bathroom was small and the make up mirror way too high for average height women. Also bathroom was not very clean and there was some kind of odor. I would not like to return to this hotel.”

“Comfortable, cozy, and clean hotel rooms. Confidently located right off the highway. Met all expectations.”

“The CP has real potential however each time I stay there is something wrong. Last trip renovations negatively impacted the stay. This time housekeeping didn't clean the room one day, the pool was too cold to use, on command movie purchase didn't work and a billing error at the end of the stayed left me with a bad impression. From what I've observed they are booked quite heavily for banquets/special functions and perhaps that's their bread and butter. Now they just need to expand their total focus to include their hotel guests.2-Stars.”

“This is a very nice hotel and just 5 minutes from Quassy Park. The indoor heated pool was working though the 'spa' was undergoing maintenance. The little things, like stacks of dry towels by the pool really make a difference. The room was great and the staff was friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again.”

“Bed was uncomfortable. Although the room and lobby were pretty, it seemed very cheaply made. Towels were too small and scratchy like something you'd get in a motel 6. On the way back, we stayed at holiday inn (2 1/2) which I thought was much nicer and quieter than this hotel. I was disappointed.”

“Recent renovations have made this hotel very attractive on the inside - there wasn't much they could do to improve the plain outside. The renovations, however, left out mechanical improvements. We could not use the air conditioning because the metal door to the dials rattled so badly when it was on that we could not sleep or concentrate. The shower in the room above leaked into our bathroom and clearly had been doing so for some time, given the size of the wet area on the ceiling. The front desk offered no compensation for either inconvenience.”

“The room was clean and comfortable and the hotel was in a convenient location. The night we stayed there, there was a very loud college sorority party in the ballroom that moved up to our hall in the early hours of the morning. The staff was very unhelpful about the noise (probably overwhelmed) and took 20 minutes to pick up the phone at the front desk. They were apologetic the next morning, but clearly were inadequately staffed to deal with the predictable issues that would arise when they had a large party.”

“They are in the process of reconstruction so the atmosphere not very attractive, but the rooms were very nice.”

“Under construction after recent purchase. It will take a lot more work to make it justify the 3 or 4 stars.”

“First impression was terrible - torn up lobby, no greeting from clerk, dusty flower arrangements. Hallway was newly carpeted and painted (overwhelming smell!) And room was clean and nicely furnished. Should not have opened yet.”
