• It was very convenient to Mohegan Sun where I attended a concert. No traffic worries at all.
• The breakfast area was a little small for the AM rush.

“The hotel is very conveniently located for anyone going to Mohegan Sun. The room I had was nice, seemed a little small. I was alone on this trip though, so I didn't need much space. The breakfast area was very crowded. I realized afterward there was a small room across the hall to sit in to eat breakfast as well. Easy access to the highways surrounding. Overall a nice place.”

• The beds were extremely comfortable. My wife wanted to stay in bed all day.
• Carpets could have been cleaner. Lots of stains.

• The staff was great, did anything to make our stay the best it could be!
• The mold.

“Great staff, great price for an economy hotel and loved that they had a free car service to the casino. When they we told that we had an issue with our room they gave us a free night and changed our room.”

• This hotel is convenient to Mohegan Sun & Fox woods.
• Eating area was small, with limited amount of tables.

“The hotel was quiet, and very clean. It is very convenient to the casinos, with free shuttle service to Mohegan Sun.”

“Excellent check-in, nice people; other than the fact that the remote didn't fully work and I couldn't connect to their wireless network, it was a great place. Bring a CAT 5 cable.”

• Free shuttle to Casino. Clean room. Water pressure in shower was great.
• Maid was knocking on our door at 10:52 when checkout time was noon.

“Nice looking on outside. Clean and great location. Bed was very comfy and our room had extra pillows which I needed. Shuttle driver was very nice. Great price for this hotel stay.”

• Too much noise due to construction.

“It was fine except for being woken up at 9 am by the sounds of hammering. We could not fall back asleep and left earlier than anticipated.”

• Great location to where we had tickets for a concert; served continental breakfast.
• Never locked the outside door which was next to our room; it had the capability of using your room key to enter.

• The room was very good size and very clean, also convenient to get to Mohegan Sun.
• Had trouble a couple times with the card you use in the door as the key.

“I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would definitely go back here when I take another trip to Mohegan Sun.”

• Inexpensive and extremely close to Casino.
• Uncomfortable bed, sand paper sheets, stunk of cigarettes.

“Very close to the Casino (1 mile) and offers free shuttle after 5pm. The rooms are very small (not an issue, you are there to sleep) but the beds are very uncomfortable and the sheets and pillows were like sand paper. The room really stunk of old cigarettes and the A/C was poor.”

• Close to the casino.
• Not very informative about services, such as shuttle service. I paid for one cab fare when I could have used their shuttle.

“The hotel was very basic, I would consider using Microtel again, but wish they had a more comprehensive casino information package (possibly mailed prior stay or a website link, coupons etc). Also morning shuttle service to the casino, even if only a few set transport times for a small fee.”
