• The location was good; I was within 20 minutes of most locations.
• The hotel did not meet expectations as far as star level, felt unsafe.

“The staff originally gave us a room on the opposite side of the building in an area that felt completely unsafe. We would have been the only room over there, with no lights and accessible to anyone. We refused to be put in this situation and the staff moved us to a room next to the ice machine on the top level. There was no elevator so we carried our bags up the stairs; it was an outside entrance - again on the edge of the building away from everyone. The room and area around the hotel smelled of raw sewage, and the conditions were very poor for the star level. There were spiders all over the room, and the floor looked like it needed vacuumed. I was completely unsatisfied with my experience at this location.”

• Cape cod beaches are beautiful anywhere you stay.
• The buildings are built cheaply. Dirty stains on the carpet.

“The hotel building is built cheaply, the walls are so thin we could hear our neighbors talking and snoring all night. There were dirty stains on the carpet. No breakfast. No internet. Pluses: convenient parking. Overall, good place to crash for one night. I would never give 2 stars though.”

• Simple yet attractive, clean and comfortable room.
• There is no elevator. Also, there is a $10 fee if you use one of their infant cribs! (This is a free amenity in other hotels).

“My husband and I and our young boys really enjoyed our stay in this hotel and would definitely stay again. We were within just a couple miles from Nauset Lighthouse and beaches, which was great. Our room was very clean.”

• Location.
• Dirty and run down.

“The hotel room was very dated with stains on the carpet and marks on the walls. My friend opened the drawer to get extra bedding out and found small bugs in the drawer. There was a dead fly on the TV table and hair in the tub. The blankets were worn and the mattress pad stained. Overall it was an icky experience.”

• Affordable and staff were pleasant.
• Driveway is not lit and a potential accident on several occasions.

“Affordable and convenient. The staff was very pleasant. Check-in and out was quick and efficient. Next time I would double check with the check-in time.”

• Price.
• Room not clean, service lousy and appearance.

“The ocean park inn is not a two star hotel. At best, it is one star, if I have to give one at all. You need to check up on this one. This time we were very disappointed. Unclean, rundown; staff were surly. Maids left our room door wide open long after cleaning; when I discovered this and asked them, they denied leaving it open and suggested I was lying!”

• Comfort and cleanliness. Location is perfect.
• Nothing relevant.

“Large, attractive rooms with comfortable furniture and natural light. Great amenities with large refrigerator. Use of facilities at Ramada is a real plus. Everything is nearby. TV lacks significant reception and channel choice. Would definitely recommend this hotel to all travelers”

• Absolutely nothing.
• Carpet filthy, wallpaper stained, bedding old, room smelled musty- just awful.

“We were extremely disappointed in the quality of the room. It was outdated, dirty, and dingy. There was an overpowering musty smell in the room. The carpet was covered with stains as was the wallpaper. There were no headboards on the beds, the remote for the TV didn't work, the microwave was filthy, and the windows were so dirty you could barely see out. Never again.”

• You have access to amenities at the hotel next door.
• The room furnishings are dated in appearance.

“The hotel was ideal for us. We had access to a bike path and access to amenities next door, which included an indoor pool. It's close to beaches and tourist venues. Although the furnishings are dated in appearance, they were very comfortable. The staff was very nice and helpful.”

• It was really inexpensive but clean and convenient.
• Definitely standard roadside motel.

“The motel was pretty standard, but it was clean and really reasonably priced. One of the perks of this particular motel is that its guests can use all of the amenities (the indoor pool, Jacuzzi, and saunas) of the Sheraton that is right next store. Definitely good for a quick or inexpensive trip, but I wouldn't want to stay there on a romantic get away or for a long family vacation.”
