• Located on the beach.
• Unfriendly staff, dirty rooms & slow elevators.

“The hotel was located on the beach, but the cost of the room was not reflective of the accommodations; the lobby was being repaired, the elevators were very slow, we were not given any information about the restaurant or any other services, we were placed in a handicap room without a tub, the glasses were dirty, no soap was available & the coffee maker was inadequate.”

• Customer service superb.
• Web site did not inform me there were massive renovations being done.

“The renovations obliterated the restaurant and bar, so I could have stayed at the Hampton Inn and got a better room with no culinary amenities. But: I presented my problem with the staff, and the counter person and manager gave me a 20% reduced rate and upgraded me to a fancier room. They dealt with my issues very professionally. The rooms were a little shabby, but the hotel IS being renovated. I'd have a look around before I get another room there, though. The Hilton website never warned me about any of that stuff!”
