• Friendly and helpful service, excellent location.

“The room was clean, the TV was excellent, the service was terrific. It was near restaurants, shops, bars, and I-87. It was convenient, quiet. It was perfect for a business traveler, or someone looking for a place to stay for a night or a few nights.”

• Room was clean; free long distance calls.
• Bad bed; air conditioner did not work, toilet lid could not stay up because of poor shelf design, Wi-Fi did not work.

“My wife and I had to wait around 20 minutes until the check-in girl was busy flirting with a couple of young men. The bed was horribly uncomfortable, the air conditioner did not work, the bathroom shelf overhang was too wide so that the toilet lid could not open completely, so we had to balance the lid on our backs while using the toilet, not to mention the trouble we men go through to having to hold the lid up while urinating. Shame on us for forgetting that we have used this hotel before. We remembered that other rooms had the same problem with the toilet. The Wi-Fi was useless. I could never connect. An overall horrible experience. Then, to top it off, I made numerous attempts, filling in their emailed guest stay survey, and each time it stalled, and didn't submit to Microtel. I guess they just didn't want to hear anything negative.”

• I like the linens best, the comforter was more of a foe silk than a nasty course floral poly blend.
• No refrigerator, and the toilet seat would not stay up because the shelf stuck out too far, it was irritating for a guy to have to hold open.

“Well, the location was very convenient, easy on and off to Saratoga. The room was nice for a night but I would need a fridge for more than that. The big issue was the poor construction of the bathroom in that the ledge stuck out so far that the toilet seat wouldnt stay up. I put it up and it hit me in the back, very dangerous for a small child, or a short man if you know what I mean! Also the room was near the janitor closet and they were in there a lot. Micro thin walls at the Microtel if you know what I mean. Other than that, all was fine.”

• Refrigerator & microwave in room.
• A bit noisy from the other rooms through the walls.
