• Its proximity to where i was going.
• Its location beside the above ground subway line.

“This hotel is not for the faint of heart. If all you need is a place to sleep for a night or two then you're fine. But don't forget to lower your expectation at the front door.”

• It was clean and had cable for the kids.
• No refrigorator to store food for the kids and formula for the baby.

• It was cheap.
• It was in a really bad part of the Bronx.

“Needs to be in a better location. Safer area in the Bronx closer to Yankee stadium where we stayed.”

• It was very clean and friendly.
• I liked everything about the people was very friendly.

“I come down to New York once a month and see my family. But I choose to stay in a hotel for my own space. I am glad I saw this hotel. The people was very nice and friendly and this is where I will be staying when I come thanks again.”

• Quick and efficient dealings with the staff.
• Located right next to the train.

“Perfect for what I needed. Simple, extremely cheap, little disturbance and very quick in/out of a comfy bed. Staff was helpful in hiring me a cab.”

• Close to Fordham University.
• The Subway above ground passes very close to the window and it is noisy.

“For the money it worked well. It can be noisy. The hallways are noisy and the elevated train is located next to the window.”

• The staff helped to explain the subway system.
• The hotel was in a not so nice area underneath the subway tracks!

“We did not have any sleep or privacy. The phone was ringing, and no one we knew had the phone number to our room. The subway ran above our room all night long. This was not a pleasant stay and we are filing a complaint about the hotel!”

• It had a comfortable bed and was clean. And despite being located by the train, it was quiet.
• It was located in a really bad part of town.

• There were TWO bath towels. One day there were no wash cloths. After the front desk took more than 20 minutes to respond, I had to go to the desk .

“There was a strong paint odor in the hotel. The unavailablility of WAsh cloths. totally unacceptable. Un-rated. I am sorry that I stayed there.”

• The room was dirty and the smoke detector was pulled from the ceiling. We did not feel safe at all!

“The hotel was located in a very poor section of town. The room was dirty and we even came across a cockroach in the bathroom. The railroad tracks were directly outside our window which did not even lock. ”

• It was a quiet and low key.
• The comforter in my room looked like they needed to be washed.

“Overall, it was a pleasant experience. The staff was friendly and the hotel served the purpose it needed to serve which was providing a safe place to spend the night.”

• I was pleased about cleanliness.
• Hospitality wasn't all that great. Not even a smile.

“Best price found on internet in that area. Met my hygienic expectations however staff was not very friendly nor welcoming. It was a bit noisy throughout the night but nothing I couldn't handle.”

• Price was good for a NYC hotel near where I needed to be.
• The subway line runs in front of the hotel which makes it nosier than most.

“Come prepared with ear plugs. It was clean and the staff was accommodating. I had left something in the room after my first visit and I knew I was coming back in a few days so I called them and when I returned the item I had left in my room was waiting for me.”

• Where do I start? Horrible!

“Train tracks above my head, itch pillows (eyes swollen), worst service ever, smelled like pot smoke, window at level where people could jump in window from outside. Located in the worst part of the Bronx. That's all I can type now but it was the worst experience ever.”
