  • Location was adequate for my needs. Lots of food selections nearby.
  • Room was dirty and drafty, very cold.

“Don't expect much from this hotel besides a place to use the internet and sleep.”

  • It was clean and the beds were comfortable enough.
  • The heating system did not work well; we were cold, smelled like smoke in non-smoking room.

“For the price we paid, it should have been in better shape. The Bedford Travelodge was barely adequate, not pretty, but the rooms had four walls and a door, with okay beds.”

  • It was cheap.
  • Limited facilities - no Internet access.

“I used this hotel as I was on a brief (one night) trip to the Boston area. My mandate was to travel cheap. The hotel staff was very friendly and efficient. The room provided the basics, but lack of Internet access would prevent me from ever staying for more than one night.”

  • Convenient location.
  • Roach under the pillow.

“This Travelodge is very convenient to rte 128 and Bedford facilities but is in much need of repair and update to meet the needs of the business/family traveler of 2007.”

  • Nothing.
  • Everything.

“Friendly staff, but kind of ghetto and way far from Boston. The towels in the rooms were dirty and made my skin itch. The bed sheets had stains on it and when I got home I had bites from bed bugs. Bad experience.”

  • I like nothing about this hotel. It was dirty and smelly, All in all a very bad experience. The rooms were smelly and dirty. I asked for a smoke free room only to find an astray and matches in the room that also smelt of smoke.

“The hotel was dirty and smelly. If you want a clean bed to lay your head, you SHOULD NOT choose this hotel. The mattress was very dirty and you could see what looks like blood stains on the mattress and back spring. This was a horrible experience for me. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.”

  • So cheap & convenient shopping in nearby.
  • It is impossible to use wireless Internet.

  • Friendly staff.
  • Very dirty.

“The Travel Lodge is closely located to Boston so it was convenient. The staff were friendly, the surrounding area felt unsafe and the hotel and rooms were extremely dirty and they smelled.”

  • The bathroom was really clean.
  • The mattress was so hard that it prevented me from getting a good nights sleep.

“The area that surrounds the hotel is quaint and we felt very safe in this area. We checked-in after the office was closed so when our friends called in the morning to speak to us, they were told that we had not checked in. Fortunately, I reconnected with our friends and they were happy to learn that we in fact had checked in. For $25.00 more, we could have stayed at the Hilton. (Our friends checked about staying at the Bedford but decided it was too expensive, not family orientated, and their swimming pool was not yet open.) When I learned this, I felt as though we over paid for this 2 star motel.”

  • Great value.
  • Old motel, not in the greatest shape.

“Good value in a safe neighborhood. I think I expected it to be a little bit nicer based on the two-star rating. I hate to think what a one-star rating motel looks like.”

Cleanliness:[6] • Staff:[6] • Location:[8]

  • Comfortable beds, clean smelling not perfumery or musty, ample space.
  • Needing some repairs and upgrade carpet.

“Convenient to shopping center, close to link to major highways.”

  • Filthy! This hotel was the most embarrassing filthy place.
  • NA

“Filthy rooms. Bathrooms did not work. Front signage falling off. Carpeting not clean. Bedspreads were old and with stains. Refrigerator was unplugged. No coffee for coffeemaker. Manager said "yes" when you walk in, not "welcome", and the entire property is embarrassing. ”

  • I cant tell you anything I liked at all.
  • Everything.

“I would not stay again if it was for roaches, don't turn on the lights, bed bugs, you wake up raking your skin, with red welts in the AM. Cold, dirty, smelly mold, loud drunks with families that live in the hotel. I feel I got ripped off. This one will hurt your business, of course if you like roaches, mold, dirty loud drunks that smoke and drink all night yelling. A real liability with a pool.”
