“Poor service!”

“The hotel was near impossible to find and we circled the airport in circles (and we were so tired as it was late at night). The service was unfriendly and when we got to our room, there were holes in the carpet and the shampoo in the bathroom was half-used. They did allow us to park & ride, but the shuttle took forever to pick us up from the airport.”

“The room was clean and the manager was very helpful. The breakfast buffet hit the spot after a long night. The room was musty smelling. The sheets were damp.”

“This hotel may be close to JFK airport, but it was so hot in our room, and the noise level when the window was open. Made it impossible to get any sleep. When we asked why the air conditioner wasnt working at 3 a.m., they told us that it wouldnt be turned on for another month. I am disputing these charges for this stay since I paid for a room with air conditioner and was not provided any, therefore making it impossible to get any sleep. We were awake all night and had a 6 a.m. flight! This hotel is the worst I have ever stayed at.”

“The food was completely dreadful. Everything was stale or cold. The same was true of breakfast. Food had been sitting out for hours and was dry and awful. The rooms were old fashioned and the staff were rude. Altogether quite an unpleasant experience.”

“The staff is great, very helpful and nice. It was an older hotel and tile in bathrooms was stained, and kind of dirty. This hotel is close to JFK Airport but not anything else.”

“This hotel was terrible. One of the worst I've ever stayed in and I stay in hotels over 200 nights per year. The room was smelly, dirty, the AC/heat did not work, the bathroom was disgusting. I would never even dream of staying at this hotel again.”

“The housekeeping crew seems to have done a good job keeping an old, almost seedy, hotel up to par. The facilities are old and in need of renovation; a fresh coat of paint, new drapes, new windows, and even a new bedspread would all help. Despite these drawbacks, the room was clean. The shuttle bus itself old and in need of fresh shocks, seems to run on schedule and the location is a short ride to the terminals.”

“We were some what pleased when we entered the lobby because of the appearance. But in other areas there is a need for maintenance. We did not experience any of the bad situations other travelers did. Our room had a king size bed in it and the room was actually quite clean. We ate our supper meal at the restaurant. Other than the high price, we were pleased with it as well. All in all we were satisfied with our stay at this hotel.”

“Lobby and elevators dirty. Front desk staff frequently not there or overworked even at regular hours. Buses to airport insufficient for number of users. Bad hotel.”

“The bathroom was disgusting, with a barely operable shower. The entire floor on room was on was supposed to be non-smoking, but wreaked of smoke. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone - pay a few dollars extra to stay at another conveniently located airport hotel.”

“Room was just adequate/I thought it was pretty expensive for minimal service or extras.”

“A tired old musty smelling hotel with a splash of paint here and there which did not cover up for the filthy carpet, chipping paint, torn wallpaper and ridiculously overpriced restaurant.”

“Very convenient if you have a layover in New York and want to stay out of the city. Far from subway ($15 cab ride each way), then 1 hour subway ride to the city. No food around. Can't even get a croissant or bagel from the restaurant. Will try my best to avoid this next time.”

“This hotel is awful, and I would not recommend it. Most other guests are distressed travelers that missed flights. It was awful experience.”

“It was awful. Room service food expensive, cold, terrible! Non smoking floor full of smokers! Coffee maker did not work! The absolute worst hotel experience of my life, I would never, ever stay at that dump again!”

“All areas were good except the internet service, which I paid over $12.00 and could not even check my Emails completely.”
