• Convenient to local attractions.
• There was a lot of construction around and this was not publicized.

“Just a few minutes from Six Flags Magic Mountain. Convenient and helpful 24 hour staff.”

• Near amusement park.
• Room smelled like cigarette smoke. Carpets did not look clean.

• Convenient to freeway.
• Very noisy no parking.

“Not a luxury place to stay, but puts you right at Magic Mountain and next to the freeway. Limited staff was helpful. No breakfast offered. Just a place to sleep and getaway quickly after your roller coaster weekend.”

• The price.
• No breakfast available, location behind Holiday Inn Express difficult to find.

“We were disappointed in this hotel which was rated 3 stars. Phone system archaic; got message light every night for the 7 nights we were there even thou nobody called. Desk not helpful re phone problems or use of computer desk in lobby. Best feature was the beds and pillows which were very good. Location too close to the interstate which made for a noisy evening.”

• Plumbing from room next door backed up into our tub the first morning just as we needed to shower for our event that we were in town for.

“Employee at the front desk rather curt and not helpful at all. Arriving in the evening finding the room from the check in area was difficult and didn't feel very safe. Lack of parking for the number of rooms - had to park at least 10 or more rooms away from the room we were in. Maintenance man was very nice when he had to come and snake the tub to rid of the back up from the shower next door.”

• Pool, Free coffee, Location.
• Smell in the room was like cat pee, lacked cleanliness.

“The hotel was easy to find but the smell was not agreeable at the entrance to the room. The freeway noise was audible and loud. There was an added bonus of the pool though.”

• Basic motel, nothing special.
• Right by fwy, Noisy, access to first floor has stairs.

“This is really a basic motel that was fine for the 5 hours we were there at night but was very noisy. Heater/fan helped with the noise by being white noise over the traffic.”

• The kids enjoyed the hot tub.
• No room svc; too much road noise; dirty rooms; clogged sink; no elevator; no microwave, no refrigerator,.

“I would not return. It was dirty & extremely noisy. Paper thin walls; I could hear the other room's conversation. There is no room service, no microwave, and no refrigerator; bad pluming; the pool is too cold but the kids enjoyed the hot tub. The worst hotel I have stayed in!”

• Close to Theme Park and restaurants.
• Thin walls. You could hear everything going on.

“Stayed here because it was close to theme park. It was perfect for sleeping after a long day. Room was a nice size and had vaulted ceilings. The separate shower and toilet area are a plus. The grounds are well kept. Due to the proximity to the freeway, there is some noise from the semi-trucks as they go by. In general if you are going to the theme park this is a great place to stay. There are many places to eat in the area.”

• The room was clean and comfortable.
• The hotel is located right on the 5 freeway, very noisy all night.

“The hotel was easy to find and close to the area attractions. The room was clean and comfortable; however, it is located next to the 5 freeway. The sounds of traffic especially big trucks kept us awake all night. I asked the hotel personnel for a quieter room and was told there weren't any available. I wish I would have known the location of this hotel ahead of time, so I could have requested a room facing away from the freeway.”

• Very clean and comfy.
• No early check in even when rooms available and a 50 dollar cash deposit.

“Great clean hotel, comfy. Convenient to highway and Magic Mountain. I didn't like having to put up a fifty dollar cash deposit though. I also didn't like that they wouldn't let me check in early even when they had the rooms. I only had an hour to go till 3 pm.”

• The hotel itself is old.

• Pleasant enough for sleeping.
• The room was smoky smelling even though it was supposed to be non-smoking.

“I have stayed there twice, getting in late and leaving early. It is convenient to go to a concert in LA and then get "out of Dodge" so to speak and stay outside traffic. Early morning I head north with no problems at all.”

• We can park our car in front of our room. Good if you have to load and unload luggage with small children.
• There is a smell walking into the room. No refrigerator unless you pay more for it.

“The locate of the hotel is noisy, right next to the freeway. When we were inside the room (not facing the freeway), we were not effected by the noise. Had problem with the first room given to us. The toilet lever was broken, could not flush. Was given another room. The shower know broke off. Maintenance was able to come to fix it. Staff friendliness varied. Upon check-in, the pm staff was great. The morning staff was not as friendly. There was no breakfast offered, only coffee, hot tea, and hot chocolate. The lobby BLDG. looked and smelled cleaner than our room. Only advantage is free Wi-Fi. The Holiday Inn express right next door looked more inviting. It looked like the grounds of a school built in the 50's.”

• The location was convenient to the freeway and easy to find.
• Because of its location, there was a lot of freeway noise all the time.

“If there is someway to insulate the rooms from the freeway noise, it would be a much better place to stay. Fortunately we were very tired and were able to sleep most of the night in spite of the constant traffic of large trucks not very far from our "front door".”
