“Overall my husband and I enjoyed our stay and if we ever head up that way again, that is probably where we will stay again.”

“This hotel had a good central location, easy on and off the highway. Unfortunately the wireless internet did not work at this hotel, after calling the front desk they said they knew about the problem and were working on it, but didn't get it running during my stay. I wouldn't 't recommend for the business traveler if you have internet related work to do. Overall the room was comfortable and quiet. The beds were comfortable and the room was a little run down but neat and clean.”

“Beds, bedding, pillows were better than expected and was very comfy. Each bed had four big, soft pillows, quality ones like you would find in 3 star hotel. Towels were rather small, kind thin and sort of Econo-lodge-ish. Breakfast consists of the usual fruit, cereal, toast, and semi stale grocery store doughnuts that everyone seems to have, but they also has a waffle maker, so you can make fresh, hot waffles. A nice touch. Convenient location. This was my second time there and I would return.”

“The hotel was clean. Noticed a stale smoke smell, mostly in the elevator. We stayed 2 nights and both mornings awoke to the fire alarm.. By 9:00am we were allowed back in and told a child had placed a cookie in the microwave & started a fire. Second morning at 8:55am alarm briefly sounded we were up and packing by then. No explanation at check out. Smell of burnt cookie in the air again!”

“I liked the location, and you can never go wrong dealing the warmth of Vermont locals. They always make you feel home and welcome. However, I do need to tell you the hotel/motel needs some updating.”

“First floor was really creaky. When you walk around it¿s sounded like an old ship. Otherwise it was nice. But that floor!”

“Parts of the room wasn't clean and it was very noisy in the morning starting at 4:30 a.m., we could hear showers running, dressers and doors opening and shutting, and people walking. The hotel is not at all sound proof.”

“The hotel was extremely easy to find and close to downtown Burlington. Front desk staff was friendly and approachable. Rooms were clean, good sized bathrooms and I loved our private balcony. The outside lights above the balcony however were covered with thick, disgusting spider webs and dead insects. The lights next to our beds did not work either. The corridors were very clean, and I was impressed by the vending machines too. I was overall satisfied with the services, but definitely felt I was overcharged with a one night rate of $140, which is in actuality less than a 24 hour stay.”

“The continental breakfast had good waffles but only grape jelly, so they did cut back. The pool was small and cold. (That small should have been a little warmer.) Staff and manager were very friendly. They even gave me a discount for a future stay after skipping cleaning my room after our first night. One thing special they gave you lots of pillows, so you could chose your favorite softness.”

“Well worth the price - great staff, clean rooms, heated indoor pool, super breakfast, would definitely stay there again.”

“Great bang for the buck. Basic, but very professional, clean and friendly. A little to noisy. They should do something about the tub/shower units. They creek when you move around in them and it can be heard in the next unit. Despite this it was one of the best hotel/motel experiences I have ever had. I have paid a lot more for a lot less.”

“Simple convenience for the price. Complimentary continental breakfast and coffee was a plus. Could probably use updating in the pool area. Easy access to Saint Michael's College for parents and prospective students. Staff was very courteous. Rooms could use more sound proofing, especially those above the pool.”
