“It was a lovely warn and friendly guest were the owners cannot do too much for you. We had room on the ground floor, it did not have a outside window but was light and airy.”

• Checked in early.
• Drain smell, no window in room, and next to kitchen.

“We had an ok welcome on arrival. They also let us check in earlier which was nice, as we had a two year old child. But when we entered the room we realized the room was right next to the kitchen and there was no window in the bedroom, only a small skylight in the toilet. They had a plug in air freshener which was really overpowering in the small room, I switched off straightaway and we were then left with this most horrible drain smell. We complaint to the lady, she offered to clean the toilet again, but the smell didn't come from the toilet. So after spending all day out because of the smell, her husband said he couldn't smell anything and we should try to use the air purifier, which was already in the room. Next morning the breakfast was a bit of a disaster, toast was totally burnt, bacon undercooked, my little boy's boiled egg over cooked (could not dunk little soldier in egg). After the breakfast they asked if we wanted to change the room, and if we did we had to tell them straight away so arrangements could be made. We decided to stay in the same room and try the purifier, but unfortunately the smell didnt go away. Overall, we were really disappointed with our stay as we wanted to have a couple of day of relaxing with our little boy, but could not stay in our roomier.”
