• comfortable furnishings in room. pleasant bar. quiet. secure parking, although off site friendly staff/management
• building a little run down. room a little shaby.

“we had a pleasant trouble free stay. the only thing i would have liked to have known was that the majority of the hotel had been booked for an ex servicemens reunion, and that they had their own functions in the bar area evenings. having said that, it did not detract from our stay.”

• Room decor a bit tired

“Overall ok, but the uPVC windows were poorly fitting and the French doors had been modified with a lock normally found on wooden doors, presumably because the original key had been lost.
These things, combined with a poorly fitted and maintained shower, meant that my overall impression is of a poorly maintained hotel.
In summary - adequate, but poor value.”

• Friendly staff Good breakfast Very fast and efficient service Friendly owner
• Light not working in room Was billed for '40 instead of '37, but after raising the issue, only was charged '37.

“THe hotel was very easy to find, being right on the sea front. For the price, and the time of year, I think the price was very good, even thought the room was very small. I would have liked to see some of the larger family rooms, as maybe I will stay there with my children in the future.”
