• Very quiet ,lovely bathroom.
• The fridge was a bit noisy

“Excellent value for money. Good parking with nice views over country. No normal hotel room noise (slamming doors etc) as rooms built of stone and very self contained.Lovely decor.”

• Quiet hotel, Good food, comfortable bed
• Room very cold when we arrived, had to switch heater onand wait for warmth

“Directions were poor, we drove around for 15 minutes before we found the hotel.Covenient for ferries, very good evening meal and breakfast.”

• Clean, polite staff and conveniently located.
• Heating didn't work - we were very cold!

“This is a nice place but let us down as the heating didn't work, the bar was closed and we were locked in at 10 PM because the combination lock on the entrance was broken!”

• Accommodation generally was good.
• The bed was short. I am only 5ft7 and was left dangling my feet over the end

“my husband is 6ft2!! Also, the bed was not very comfortable and our friends thought the same of their room too. For one night, it was okay but would not have been so for more nights.”

• Rooms were clean, comfortable and well presented. Staff were friendly and helpful.
• Would have liked some sort of heating in the bathroom as it was inclined to be cool and towels remained damp.

“Food in restaurant was excellent. Freshly prepared and very tasty. Unfortunately it is closed on Sundays although we were aware of this before we went.

Would have liked to have coffee making facilities in bedroom.

We would recommend this hotel to others and would stay there again.”

• Typical French hotel, everything clean, with helpful staff.
• The shower was in the bath but no shower curtain, so difficult to use without the floor getting wet.

“Our only regret was that we were not early enough to be able to sample the dinner. However, the breakfast was fine.”

• small room,mildew behind bed,not enough breakfast

“Room very small as was bathroom with no bath just a shower.Breakfast poor for the money, they had a toaster but no bread,we had one small baguette between two and when we asked for more were told they had'nt any.No tea making facilities in room.standard of furnishing quite good.”
