Our hotel is located outside the town centre but is close to motorways or main roads and are arranged around a central car park, so you can often park close to your room. The hotel reception closes at 11pm, so if you intend to arrive later than this make sure you phone the hotel to get the entry code. The spacious, comfortable rooms have TV and telephone, and a bathroom with bath and shower. Tea and coffee making facilities are available, and the optional extensive buffet breakfast (payable direct to the hotel) provides a great start to your day. Fougeres is a town of one thousand years of existence which has been punctuated by several abrupt changes. The surrounding countryside reveals evidence of a more remote past : megaliths in the nearby forest and the intersection of Roman roads in the Nancon valley.
