• Nothing.
• Fleas and cockroaches.

“I checked into the hotel on Friday 26 September and found the staff pleasant. On Saturday 27th September at about 3.00 am, I woke up itching. The bed was full of fleas and there were several spots on the sheets where I had been bitten, rolled over and squashed the fleas. I also saw three (of what I am pretty sure were small cockroaches) on my pillow. The staff was obviously concerned and apologetic but were unable to find me an alternative hotel in Boulogne.”

• Convenient for shops, restaurants. Clean and bright.

“Very conveniently located hotel in the centre of Boulogne. The hotel and room newly and tastefully decorated. Very good continental breakfast served in a pleasant room looking onto a lovely garden. The secure garage parking (pre-booked) is reasonable valu”

• Plain, simple and very clean. Central with access to local amenities. Parking was available.
• Directions to the hotel were inadequate

“The hotel is small and was in an excellent position. The room was small but adequately furnished and spotlessly clean. The room had air conditioning and double glazing. (Essential as my room faced the street and I was on the first floor - so noise might have been a problem - but was not.) The staff were very helpful and friendly and spoke English. Breakfast was typically french - very simple but first class quality. Although the hotel does not have a retaurant there are many restaurants within a short walking distance - witha variety of prices available.

The directions to the hotel were very poor. The hotel is situated on a street that is a pedatrian way during the day with no access for cars. This was not specified on the instuctions. This made getting to the hotel very awkward. Once there the staff were helful in directing me to their car parking (with a supplied map) and from then on access in and out of the hotel and the town was simple.”

• central location clean helpful comfortable

“The staff were polite friendly and helpful. The room was furnished basically but comfortably and the ensuite facilities were good. It was a delightful hotel perfect for short stays.”

• very clean friendly hotel, that is in a central location.
• The rooms are a little on the small side

“This a very friendly Central hotel, with Car parking. The rooms were clean but a little on the small side. Overall a very pleasent hotel.”

“Car park was close by and secure (couple of mintues walk). The hotel was smack in the midddle of a shopping area with plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. A pleasant stay.”

• It was very clean and tidy and had a mini-bar
• the shower was a bit small and the waterflow weak, but it did the job!

• maybe the shower was a little tired,

“overall the service was excellent,the hotel was clean,the bed was comfortable,and i liked the secure parking.hard to find a fault, but maybe the shower was a little tired,but an excellent stay and will stay again in the future.”
