“Worst place I ever stayed, would not recommend to any body. People are very rude and the room is pathetic. Nightmare.”

“Rooms were smelly and dirty, the bathroom was awful!! Sheets should have been used as a painters drop sheets. We arrived from Auckland, after a long flight, this is definitely NOT the place to stay. We booked and paid for 3 nights but stayed only 12 hours, couldn't stay any longer.”

• Smelly. Uncomfortable. See below!!

“The room was clean, however, there were bugs in the bed, the matress must have been 30 years old, and the bed covers smelled like it too! Had a very unpleasent and uncomfortable night sleep, so much so that I left after second night having paid for three!”

• Excellent service from staff. Great value for money.
• Rooms could do with decorating and more thorough cleaning.

“Although the rooms are not perfect they have everything you need to be comfortable. The service is out-standing, despite the manager not being on site he made sure we were comfortable by phone call. For the location the price is unbeatable, but you do get what you pay for. Make sure you take a print out of the booking confirmation stating whether vat is included or you may end up paying more than you were quoted on-line. There's also a credit card charge so cash is better. I would definitely stop again - great when you're on a budget!”

• Hotel was dirty, very out dated and in need of major refurbishment. Im so glad i took my own bedding and pillow! Dirty and grimy and the room smelled awful like left over food but what do you expect for the price.

• room was smokey, bathroom was poor

“We thought we were getting a double flat (with ensuite) but it was a double room with shared bathroom & kitchen. The room smelled of stale cigarettes. The bathrooms were quite poor and looked like they were not professionally built! One had the shower not enclosed at all, next to the toilet (think Middle Eastern style).

Although we booked on the phone for 3 nights, the receipt we got was only for one and the person seemed not to know how much VAT to add - we had to tell him.

We were glad that was shortened our stay to 2 nights.”

• Quiet, private,parking at door, plenty of tea/coffee etc. on hand.
• Lack of hanging space was inconvenient.
