It stands in its own grounds on an elevated position overlooking the Cromarty Firth with a private drive down to the main A9, and so affords the business traveller or tourist alike excellent road communications. The lounge, bar and dining room all retain their original stone framed windows (as do the front bedrooms), moulded ceilings and fireplaces - the exceptional Adam fireplace in the lounge is of particular interest. With the informal and friendly atmosphere,guests can be assured that their return to Kincraig House will greatly add to the enjoyment to be derived from their holiday. With its splendid position in the Ross-shire countryside, Kincraig House is ideally situated not only for the business traveller who requires to be close to the oil related industries of Easter Ross, but also for the holidaymaker who is within easy reach of Glen Affric, the Black Isle, and the grandeur of Wester Ross. Easy day's outings can be made to places as diverse as Ullapool, Aviemore, Wick, Inverewe Gardens, and Kyle of Lochalsh. We are close to Loch Ness and surrounded by some of the finest golf courses in Scotland.[less]

Spacious comfortable room recently redecorated and room and bathroom very well appointed.
Bath towels good quality but rather small.

“Very friendly,helpful and attentive staff in all areas. Nicely situated and pleasant views. Food was excellent.”

Room (executive) was spacious with above average standard of furnishings. clenliness was very good and staff friendly

“Only stayed one night, arrived late and did not sample the food (other than an early breakfast). Standard of cleanliness and furnishings was well above average. If I was being picky I would comment that I could only receive a continental breakfast before 08.00 hours on a Sunday, Howewver, the nightshift staff went out of their way and provided a limited choice cooked breakfast at 07.45.”
