Tekels Park in Camberley, Surrey is situated in a 50 acre private park, owned by the Theosophical Society. jAffordable, comfortable accommodation in a private 50 acre park.Tekels Park has a colourful history dating back to 1800 when William Pitt (Jnr) first sold off a part on which the Sandhurst Academy now stands. Tekels Park is only 1.25 miles from the train station, 35 miles from London, 45 minutes from Heathrow and Gatwick Airports and a pleasant 15 minute walk from Camberley. It forms a wildlife sanctuary with deer, foxes, squirrels and many different species of birds. There is a variety of splendid trees, an open meadow and many beautiful shrubs forming a lovely setting for leisurely walks. Tekels Park is open all year round and is a totally non-smoking environment making your stay more comfortable. Relax in the large airy dining room at Tekels Park which has earned a reputation for its wholesome vegetarian food. Make use of the library, comfortable lounge and 50 acres of park land. Conference facilities are also available for group meetings accommodating approximately 50 people. The room has French windows on one side opening onto a patio and garden. Clean tidy and comfortable
table/trolley for refreshment too low no desk surface but no complaint

“Arriving after dark and as a single it was not too easy to find without stopping to check the perfectly clear intructions.
THe accomodatioin was good and I am sure that this must look better in the spring or summer”

Very comfortable bed, helpful staff, nice atmosphere.
Stayed in room 5 - at 5ft1in tall could not see in mirror

“Apart from the fact I had not explained to my husband clearly that it was a Vegetarian Guest House everything went very well! The instructions as to how to get there were clear and informative - very useful as we arrived after dark.”

The staff were extremely helpful and attentive. The room was very clean and comfortable.
No en suite facilities. No internet access.

“As a business traveller, I generally stick with the known. Often, there simply isn't time to properly research hotels and a poor hotel can make a business trip torturous. When I booked at Tekels Park, it was because it was very close to where I would be working, but I was very nervous that it wouldn't be what I expected.

I am glad to report that immediately after checking in and seeing the room, my concerns evaporated. The staff were so nice and helpful and the room was great. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful and it is a nice 15-20 minute walk into town.

Should the occasion arise, I would stay there again in a heartbeat.”

Basic but clean, tidy, and comfortable Good breakfast, Friendly staff
lack of sufficiently hot water both for shower in the evening and washing/shaving in morning

“The hotel tel. no. is missing from the website. The vegetarian restaurant was not open in the evening.”
