  • The old Inn is picturesque, and the staff were helpful and trying very hard to make a success of it.
  • The en-suite shower room was tiny and in need of up-dating

“The 2 night package was called a Gourmet stay The food was definitely not gourmet, but was normal pub food, but as such was not over priced.”

  • Welcoming, homely and very friendly.
  • Would have liked double glasing to help cut down noise from road outside.

“A very relaxing, enjoyable overnight stay. I would strongly recommend the Manor Arms Hotel to anyone visiting this area.
Is there any chance of becoming TOTALLY NON-SMOKING?!”

  • Lovely, clean, comfy beds. Tea & coffee making facilities. Pretty surroundings and helpful friendly staff. A typical English experience.
  • Very small bathroom with door that did not close properly.

“I would have liked to know that taxis need to be booked at the time of reservation. Our taxi, booked at time of arrival, did not arrive to take us to wedding, only ten minutes away. Staff at hotel were most helpful and ended up taking us to the wedding themselves.
Breakfast was excellent - freshly cooked full English.”
