• Beautifully decorated interiors. Excellent location very close to San Marco, but so quiet.
• Bad smell in the bathroom. Problems with the key to the hotel's exterior door open.

“Charming small hotel that has only been recently restored and decorated. A very good combination of old Venician style and contemporary interior design and facilities. Staff were very helpful with any requests and recommended excellent places to eat (Lineadombra restaurant particulary good and very close to the hotel).

I booked a deluxe room (had #224) which was reasonably large and comfortable and had two windows looking directly across the small canal to Chiesa della Salute. Could see to the left the Grand Canal and to the right Guidecca canal The internet pictures of the hotel rooms are quite good and do show the rooms accurately.

The breakfast room is lovely, with large Murano glass lightfitting and beaufiful damask fabrics. Lobby is also beautiful.

The location of the hotel is excellent for touring Venice, it is just a step away from the Salute vaporetto stop (No. 1 vaporetto only) and the next stop is San Marco square, and you can be there in the middle of Venice in a minute. It is just short distance from the Peggy Guggenheim museum and the Accademia area. But a big plus is that is also a very peaceful location, very quiet for sleeping even with the windows open (also fully aircon'd).

Would definately return and would recommend this charming hotel.”
