“The hotel is set in a charming village close to Windsor. The rooms are very comfortable (including down pillows and duvet) with a decent size kettle, TV and good shower.

“The room was very small, double bed only acessible from one side. I think it was a single room with a double bed in it.
Some retaurants ban mobile phones which I think is a good thing when paying a reasanable amount for a good meal. Here phones were going all the time although I do appreciate some were press people covering Charles & Camilla wedding.”

“Availabilityof non-smoking rooms. Closeness of railway - noise not a problem. Flight path to/from Heathrow - noise a definite problem.
Breakfast choice excellent on Saturday but service not good enough. Buffet breakfast on Sunday very limited choice.”

“We arrived at the hotel at 3pm to be told that our room wasn't ready and to take a seat as they would get it sorted asap, after 40 minutes nobody had come to get us, so we returned to the reception desk to be told the room was ready.
Evening meals in the hotel are not very private ,as there is a bar linked to the hotel and people from the bar were walking through the restaurant to use the tiolet, and also coming into the restaurant to use thier mobile phones as it was too noisey for them in the bar.
The cleansiness of the restaurant/ breakfast room wasn't up to scratch as was very dusty and there were empty wine bottles in coolers around the room at breakfast time, obviously left from the night before.
We left our hotel room at 10 am to go into Windsor, but when we returned in the evening our room had not been cleaned.
Overall i don't believe this hotel meets up to 4 star standards as advertised, but is more a 3 star.
Very dissapointing stay.”

“My room in the attick did not allow me to stand properly.
All night long there was a noisy buzz sound

“It would have been helpful to know that rooms were not available until after 2pm as internet booking had asked for estimated time of arrival. We got there at 1.50pm but had to return later to book in. Reception did allow us to leave our baggage in a side lounge. As the hotel was situated in close proximity to the rail way station it would have been useful to know how frequently the trains ran and to where. The limited car parking ran to four spaces and these could be in use by people using the hotel restaurant.”

“My overall view is that its a fantastic place for anyone to stay. It would be nice though to have a sky movie channel rather than only sport for quiet relaxed nights in.”

“Room was boxy, staff were unfriendly, and trays were left cluttering the hallway all night and morning. Attention to detail was missing, customer service poor.
The reason that they take full payment upfront at check-in is so you can't leave after seeing the size of the room!”
