• nice and quiet and thick dark curtains!

“Last year we stayed in a Macdonald hotel outside Shrewsbury which was excellent, and the main reason for selecting your hotel over other chains. I was on a brief business trip and really only looking for somewhere to sleep over, that was before I found the Playstation!

I didn't have the opportunity to enjoy the hotels facilities but look forward to doing so in the not too distant future”

• Very elegant hotel with very nice grounds. More than enough parking. Room was spacious and quiet
• The service varied from very good to very bad. Room service took an age.

“The food and service in the restaurant was exceptional. Menu limited but that reflected in the quality of what they did offer.

The room/ bathroom were very spacious and very well furnished and of the quality expected for a hotel in this price range.

Service generally was good but it was the norm, rather than the exception, to have to go to reception to request service in the bar, even at lunchtime!”
