• The staff was reasonable friendly.
• The main entrance door was constantly locked and at one time we waited 10 minutes to enter!

“While the bath hotel has good weekend rates the peak time rates are definately overpriced. Had it not been for the polish staff we would have not been able to eat normal breakfast as only full english was available. At one time we had to wait for more tha”

• Plenty of parking, good breakfasts
• Tricky to get entry into the hotel as front door un-attended and locked

• Friendly staff, easy to find, good food
• Small rooms with basic facilities, noise from railway

“Hotel looks like it is in process of being updated, some rooms are small as the en-suite is an add-in to the bedroom space. Not much seating in bar area. Good basic accomodation, clean and friendly with good food. Rather close to main railway line which can be noisy. No problem with returning late at night.
Hotel is near to a main road junction and can be a bit tricky getting in and out of the car park.”

• Conveniently sited friendly and comfortable accomodation
• Size of room, but see above re our comments on value for money

“Candidly we didn't require anything other than overnight accomodation, and our experience was good. As a business traveller, I had the opportunity to work from the room Friday pm, but room was not really set up for this. This is an improvement you may want to consider as I presume majority of your business is weekday.
Thanks for your hospitality.”

• Convenience to workplace, good breakfasts, friendly staff
• Bar/Lounge has inadequate vent/Air con - too smokey to enjoy

“This is not the first time at the Bath Hotel. I find the facilities basic, clean and functional although the gurgling heating and water pipes need seeing too! The service is courteous and quick, breakfasts are good and served without delay. This is a good work-a-day, unpretentious hotel, serviced by pleasant staff. Not for snobs!”

• Food and friendliness of staff
• The room was threadbare..no tv remote control or clock of any kind

“Overall the Hotel was keenly priced and gave fair provision for the cost.the room could have been better a light bulb was out in the bathroom! LITTLE THINGS MATTER..when you are away from home! I cannot fault the warmth of the staff.............that was what i shall take away with me!”

• Very pleasant and friendly staff. Very comfortable and cosy room. Excellent food.
• The phone in my room was dead. The bar was smoky.

“First impressions are so important, and the receptionist who checked us in immediately put us at our ease with her cheerful friendly manner. All the staff were most helpful.

The hotel has a personal touch that I found very refreshing.”
