• Decor and friendly staff.
• Poor restaurant service.

“Lovely modern and cozy surroundings but spoil by no hot water in room. Also restaurant service very slow, had to wait 20 minutes for our drinks which arrived after our starters (which were wrong), white wine was lukewarm, no salt in salt cellar, garlic bread nothing like description in menu, dessert just okay, bar staff wanted to drown our after dinner drinks with the mixers. Apart from that, everything was great.”

• breakfast, good ingredients spoilt by being kept warm for a long time, dry, when served

“The receptionist was excellent, accomodation adequate, as above spoilt by breakfast expected better for just under -u10. We did not comment at the time about this, as we were going to a funeral that morning we had other priorities”

• Staff were freindly, efficient and tried to make our stay memorable.
• Because of Christmas party season restaurant very noisey. car park noisey in early hours

“Would have been good to know that we would be in the restaurant with all the Christmas party's. Despite this the food was excelent. We would have liked somewhere quiet eg a lounge area to sit after the meal so we could chat. Nowhere was available as everything had been turned over to the parties. Staff very apologetic and compensated with bottle of bubbly sent to the room we were all in.”
