• The budget price for which we got a clean place to stay. It came with a very big safety deposit box, which is unusual and very welcome. Breakfast was good enough to keep us going until lunchtime.
• The rooms need a little refurbishment as there were cracks on the sink and the walls looked a bit tired. Also the door did not lock very securely, so a stronger bolt for when you're inside and a better locking system for when you leave the room would be a

“The hotel is very centrally located at La Ramblas, ideal for shops, restaurants and markets. The downturn is that therefore it is very loud, we could only sleep with earplugs. The Service was ok.
The Hotel itself is time-worn, the rooms none too big and not very cheerful, the prices are not justified.”

• The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The situation was convenient and central.
• The noise from outside throughout most of the night.

“Beggars can't be choosers! It was after all a one star hotel. I can't complain but I might consider looking elsewhere in view of the noise factor. I would recommend the hotel but would make it clear to anyone that it could be noisy.”

• Nice big room, three separate beds in family room for three people, good bathroom & shower. Good breakfast. Pleasant staff.
• Bathroom in need of decoration, paint peeling from wall.

“Great position in middle of Ramblas. Room was basic but adequate for a few days, clean. Continental breakfast was good, plenty of food.”

• Excellent location. Friendly, english-speaking staff. Clean and tidy.
• Double rooms quite small. Maybe not ideal if planning on staying a long time.

“The Internacional Hotel is a nice little hotel, found on the busy and touristy Las Ramblas.
It's location is ideal. Las Ramblas is one of the livliest and interesting areas in Barcelona, providing soemthing for everybody. Shops, restaurants, and bars are all within seeing distance of the hotel. The neautiful harbour is a five minute walk away and nearby the wonderful La Catedral is to be located.
Immediately outside the hotel is a metro staion to be used when visting the sites of Barcelona that are a little further a field. This form of transport is excellent and very simple to use.
The hotel itself is kept very neat and tidy by the friendly and english-speaking staff.
The buffet breakfast that is provided is nice and is open from 7:00am till 11:00am.
The room we stayed in was very small and may not be suitable on longer visits (we stayed 3 nights).”
