“The information provided by the hotel pre arrival was very helpful, e.g directions etc. It would be useful if a bit more information about the location of the hotels car park and how to use it was also included.”

“If you really have to be in Clifton, this is the one, as the location's great and although information at time of booking is sketchy, there is a limited (but covered!) parking facility.
I do regard the lack of cental heating on a particularly cold morning unacceptable (especially when it had been running just fine when I'd arrived the previous afternoon) and I agree with others' comments on this site with regard to the poky rooms and poor showers / shower curtains.
Yes, the area is noisy (or is that vibrant?!) but that's Clifton for you; it's not the hotel's fault.”

“We were pleased to find that the Clifton Hotel is set in a charming, bustling area of Clifton. It is very close to the Clifton Suspension Bridge, and away from the usual shopping precincts. We would like to spend more time, in the future, in this area of Bristol. I would strongly recommend paying for car parking in the Hotel's private car park, very close to the hotel.”

“Overall the hotel was in a good location however the room was shabbier and smaller than we would have expected for the price that we paid. They did have fruit in the room which was a nice touch though. The bathroom was tiny and old and could have done with a refurb (as could the whole room). The hotel was very hot in the rooms but we didn't have a fan in our room (other rooms did) which would have made it a bit more comfortable. The bar downstairs was pretty good and had an outdoor seating area which was nice. Overall if it had a bit of a refurb it would offer more value for money - as it is at the moment it wasn't worth what we paid and we were a bit disappointed.”
