• Nice large room. Bathroom facilities excellent.
• Top cover on bed was very dirty.

“Food was good, although portion sizes were fairly small. Bar prices were excessive, for example '2.15 for a small bottle of coke is perhaps too much?? Complementary bottles of water were not provided despite there being a card in the room asking us to enjoy them.”

• Spacious, warm, excellent views.outstanding service
• toilet not working on arrival, fixed immediately tho. however room not totally clean.

“Overcharged at check out and it was difficult to identify these charges because of hotel computer system. It has required follow up e mails and telephone calls and matter has not been fully resolved to satisfaction. The prices not included in the DBB rate are high. That being said, the hotel is in a fabulous location and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was great and the power shower was a dream.”

• very comfortable room with everything requested in place ie good view ,wine etc.staff friendly,

“large clean very comfortable room with lovely view, as requested.hotel very quite ,pool to ourselves.staff friendly,some a bit young and inexperienced but otherwise fine.food reasonable.very good value on midweek break.we would go back for short relaxing break out of season.enjoyed our stay both in the hotel and surrounding area.lots of good forrest walks.”

• new fresh hotel, big rooms
• slow service in resterant and booking in, couldn't get room till 4.30pm!

• Clean, tidy and comfortable hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff.

“Online information was good, the process was good. Staff were friendly and informative. The location of the hotel was good for our transit stay. The facilities at the hotel are very good, unfortunately I did not have time to try the golf course, maybe next time. The leisure complex is a good size and well equiped. The food in the restaurant was excellent as was the service. It was a very pleasant stay for us in a well equiped and maintained hotel.”

• Restaurant needs a great deal of improvement

“Restaurant is very busy and noisy at the week-ends and service is not particularly good at other times.
Things may improve with the new catering manager.”
