• Lounge areas very nice and good standard in dining room. Food nicely presented
• very poor condition of stair carpets - threadbare on treads

“Disappointed with room which had no outlook and was a little small, but adequate for one night. Bathroom needed updating and tiles regrouting - rather shabby. Charged twice for drinks which took time to sort out on leaving but in general the hotel is nice and staff helpful towards elderly frail relative who visited us”

• Clean, tidy and relaxing environment
• Poor reception in restaurant when arriving for Breakfast and dinner.

“Could not find the 40 spaces referred to in the Hotel literature.
Booking dinner in the restaurant was difficult as phone not always manned.”
