“When I arrived at the hotel with my wife and 2 kids the staff were not very friendly, and there was no-one who would help us with our bags (we had travelled from the US and had a lot of luggage). It took us at least 20 minutes to find our room which, for the price, was tiny and in a very poor state of repair. We could not wait to get out of there.” 0 of 1 people found this review helpful.

“I would have expected more for our money I did not feel the people working there could help as I was only staying overnight but still it was a shock to find poor water condition and no satelite telivision which was promised on your site.”

“The swimming pool was out of use, we weren't told didn't know it was buffet eating, thought dinner finished early. The general state of this beautiful art deco hotel was a bit sad, looked after properly it coul be stunning.”

“We booked on line, and your confirmation states payment on checkout - when we arrived at hotel we were told point blank that at this hotel it was payment on arrival or no room.

“Bleak hotel that urgently needs refurbishing. Unpleasant room, no bath, shower desperately needed attention. Food was horrible - we had to eat out later. We didn't bother with the breakfast as we knew it would be horrible too.

“Booked as a budget hotel I did not expect the Ritz. The tiny size of the room and lack of space to unpack/store suitcases mafde the room impractical although I only wanted a bed for the night.”
