The Drawing Room and Cedar Bar have enchanting views along Lainston's spectacular avenue of Limes. This is the perfect place to enjoy afternoon tea or a pre-dinner cocktail. The elegant Avenue Restaurant, which overlooks the gardens, offers an imaginative selection of dishes, complemented by an extensive range of fine wines. Large well appointed room. Great staff who were friendly but offered extra special service.
The room was a little cold on arrival.
“The hotel is in a great location in the countryside but only 1 hour or so from London and very close to Winchester for shopping etc. The rooms are very luxurious with fantastic bathrooms - the largest shower I have ever used!
The food was fantastic and the little touches like valet parking make you feel very special. I was particularly touched by the han written note from the manager welcoming us and wishing us a happy 10th wedding anniversary.”
