Centrally located in Andover, the Danebury started its life as a coaching inn in the 17th century. A newly refurbished town house hotel offering 18 contemporary and stylish bedrooms. Two of the feature rooms are unusual in design, one with an all leather bedstead and furniture. Both have TV with DVD players and a bank of films in the room as well as a CD stereo system. The ground floor pizzeria offers a modern relaxed meal experience with great wines. This is a lively townhouse hotel on the weekends with a 2am licence on thurs/fri/sat. Not suitable for the under 18's. Dress code applies of no trainers and sportswear on the weekend[less]

Good location
Room not made up when we checked in - at 4 pm! Reception seem surprised that we thought it would be. Staff locked out in the morning - had to let them in to prepare breakfast.

“Should have mentioned the nightclub downstairs at booking stage.
This wasn't a problem for us, but finding out at check-in could be a problem for some guests.
Rooms should be ready at check-in - the check-in time of 3 pm (with a check out at 11 am) should give ample time for rooms to be readied.”

BAR/RESTAURANT FACILITIES GOOD
ROOMS WERE NOT CLEANED WHEN WE CHECKED IN AT 3:30PM!FLOORING IN REALLY BAD WAY SAGGING FLOORBOARDS IN ONE ROOM!

“GENERALLY PLEASEANT STAY, DISAPPOINTING WHEN YOU GO TO YOUR ROOM AFTER LONG DRIVE TO FIND CLEANER STILL IN IT! RECEPTIONIST CLAIMED THEY WERE SHORT STAFFED.ENJOYED FACILITIES AVAILABLE I.E BAR/RESTAURANT/NIGHTCLUB/PIZZA PLACE. GOOD CENTRAL LOCATION FOR ANDOVER TOWN CENTRE”
