• Very nice rooms and a good standard all round.
• Prices a little on the high side.

“Good town centre location with lots of free parking. Bar, restaurant and rooms all finished to a high standard. Bar area lacks atmosphere though.”

• Functional/everything worked/just what was neccessary

“The directions to the hotel were perfect - the reception, during a very busy time for the staff, was excellent and personal - the dining room staff made me feel very welcome while coping with the back end of a seriously busy Xmas session.”

• Creaky stairs

“Room was comfortable. I was a little alarmed to find that the window had been left open behind the drapes - I hadn't noticed earlier. Coffee / tea facilities in room had not been replenished and there was very little lavatory paper. Bed was comfortable and linen clean. Breakfast fine. I chose badly at dinner however. Tomatoes 'stuffed with couscous' seemed to have been confused with rice. My colleagues, however, seemed to enjoy their meals. The location and parking were excellent and a convenient starting point for our business.”
