• Room small No hot water on Saturday evening

“The hotel is set on the middle of Rodborough Common, really fantastic countryside, maybe some people could feel cut off but the hotel has a lovely pub and an excellent restaurant so you don't really need a great deal more. It was about a 10 minute drive to Stoud.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The bedroom was small, nicely decorated and comfortable bed but small, it was fine for one night but might feel a bit claustrophobic for longer, having said that there were obviously lots of rooms of all shapes and sizes. Fantastic views over the common.

The only moan that I have is that on Saturday evening there was no hot water, not what you expect in this standard of hotel. Little could be done because apparently the boiler had gone off and it was clearly going to take a long time to heat up the amount of water needed. I would think everybody wanted to freshen up before dinner so this was disappointing. Apart from that we had a fantastic time.”

“The team at the hotel proved to be customer focused at all times.All very pleasant and friendly.The breakfast and restaurant menu was excellent, superbly cooked and presented.Overall a great experience.”
