• New bathroom and good food.
• Everything else esp the owner's attitude.

“Really unfriendly woman owner. Completely over priced. Phone in room had no outside line, no internet. Room tired and small (nice new bathroom though). Good food in the pub. Owner tried to charge us extra because our 10 month old daughter made a mess at breakfast - what a cheek. Not friendly at all let alone child friendly. We left after one night and stayed at Premier Inn Stroud which was half the price and fantastic.”

• Excellent location with fine views. Friendly ambience. Good food and beer.
• Room in annexe (out back). Attic room low water pressure. Not advised No-Smoking room.
