• Quiet and peaceful with a nice view. The situation of the hotel was lovely.
• Our room was ok but our friends room was tatty & smelt of old smoke.
  Plumbing in our friends room nearly caused third degree burns!!!

“We asked for non smoking rooms, which they were, but they still smelt from when they were smoking rooms. I felt disappointed with the quality of the rooms, especially as we had invited our friends on our recommendation. We used to eat regularly at Eygpt Mill when we lived in Nailsworth about five yrs ago, and felt sure that the rooms would be good. They only need a bit of sprucing up!The food was excellent, the staff friendly,and the restaurant had a happy atmosphere.”

• Good parking, friendly staff, Full of Character, very good food.

“A most enjoyable stay, enjoyed an excellent meal in the restaurant and a hearty breakfast the following morning. Good sized room with adequate facilities. Directions were good and found it easily. Comfortable and friendly.”

• The place. It's so picturesque!
• Facilities could be of higher standard (e.g towels) for the priced paid.

“Great location. Very picturesque and romantic. Less than 2 minutes walk from town. Simple but good accommodation. Great food at the restaurant! Lovely staff.”
