• It was a fantastic room and in the centre of town.
• No onsite parking.

• The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel overall has a lovely atmosphere.
• Need more taxi firms, waited 1/2 hour for one and gave up. Minimal vegetarian menu.

“Could have done with knowing the event we had turned up for was cancelled before hand! That is nobody's fault of course! I have stayed at this hotel before and I am very fond of it. It is a lovely place to relax in in the evening with friends and drinks. The rooms are very pleasant and designed beautifully. The only thing I would say is that the food is a little limited and vegetarian options on the bar menu are particularly scant. Also we ordered two different dishes at different times of day but they were served with the same sauce and vegetable. Perhaps don't eat there twice in the same day!”

• The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly! The decor of rooms were lovely.
• Quite noisy,could hear toilets flushing in other rooms, and creaky floorboards.

• the quality of the rooms for details
• the way that our room opened up into the wine abr downstairs and the noise kept us up when e had an early start. this was compounded as when the noise from that stopped the noise of the night wiatewrs laughing and joking was also audiable.

“good overall quality, care needs to be taken from staff not to wake paying guests, this can all be rectified by better sound proofing of rooms and double glazing.”

• Professional service
• The room was very hot - no air-con.

“Excellent service, pleasant room, good location.

Rooms on the front of the hotel were quite noisy with the windows open (busy street) - rooms were not air conditioned. On the plus side at least the windows opened fully.”
