“Directions to hotel are clear (except there is no access to junction 18 from north, use junction 19 and follow directions as given). Very close to centre and plenty of shops, bars and restaurants close to hand. Hotel itself was impeccably clean and room was basic but good value for money. I would reccommend this hotel if staying for two or three nights (due to parking charges might stay elsewhere for a longer stay). Overall, very good.”

“At 1 in the morning when I arrived it was irritating to have to fill out an admittedly short questionaire of my details and for the hotel to swipe my switch card despite having given these details already over the net. Also irritating that the NCP car park next to the hotel clearly had a short cut into the hotel but that this facility was not in use at 1am because the entrance door is locked at night time. As a female travelling alone in a strange city, it seemed stupid to make me walk around the block including a train station in the middle of the night when it was obviously avoidable. Finally, on the day of departure, having given the hotel my card details twice already, They required that I hand over my card yet again to be swiped for payment. This probably doesn't sound like a big deal but when there is a big cue of others wanting to do the same thing and you need to get to your taxi, it seems that the duplication of effort is rather unnecessary. Finally, I asked for a wake up call at 7.30am on the first morning which was not done.”

“I wouldn't stay at a Premier lodge again. When I checked in, I found out that despite ringing twice beforehand to check that my reservation was for a double room, they still had me down for a single. Also, on our third night of a four night stay - the whole hotel had no running water, so we were left being unable to flush the toilet ect. until midday the next day. The price was a bit hefty ('46.50) considering breakfast wasn't included, and the room was much smaller than I was led to believe by the website.”

“I travel constantly with business and stay in many hotels of different ratings. I have to say I was disappointed by the standard of my room, even compared to other budget hotels I have stayed in previously.”

“We normally stay at higher grade hotels but could not get a booking at any of them on that particular night. However we were pleasantly surprised at the Standard of facilities and room at Premier Lodge finding it was not much different from the higher grade hotel rooms and we will use the Premier Lodge and Active Hotels booking again. it is added to my favourites.”

“I arrived late in the evening and left next morning immediately after
breakfast, so the hotel perfectly suited my requirement for a reasonably priced centrally situated transit stay room.”
