• Everything - especially the owner.

“A terrible place - made worse by the unprofessional, surly, rude owner. Do not stay here. The rooms are dirty - no breakfast on one day as there was no staff and we did not once have someone come and talk to us. A disaster - a tent in the car park would have been a better option.”

• Off road parking.
• Neglected. Dirty carpets, curtains, chairs, shower. Unserviced rooms. Uncommunicative staff. Unhygienic. Purporting ETB AA RAC

“We felt that what we experienced was almost beyond belief. Had we realised that hotels operate with such low standards we would have looked for reviews of the accommodation before booking. We thought that even budget hotels would be presentable and clean. In the breakfast room I watched the young assistant wipe butter knives and side plates with a paper serviette and then leave them on the table for the next (unsuspecting) gests. It almost has to be witnessed to believe. It seemed apparent that the owner(s) has little regard for the visitors. We were asked to pay by cash but settled the bill by credit card, being told cheques are very difficult for us.
Needless to say, we shall be very wary in future!”
