Located in one of the oldest and most fashionable areas of London Sanctuary House is perfect for business or pleasure. Its location close to many of the capitals landmarks and shopping areas makes it the ideal base for visiting London.At the heart of England's State institutions and just a couple of minutes' walk from Westminster Abbey and the Houses of Parliament. Buckingham Palace is a ten-minute stroll away, beautiful St James's Park, with The Mall and St James's Palace even closer. Beyond is Hyde Park in one direction, and London's West End, with it's world-famous Oxford Street and Regent Street shopping about a mile in the other. Knightsbridge and Harrods are about the same distance, and Trafalgar Square, The Strand and Covent Garden rather less.[less]

“I was well informed because of the previous reviews, and I knew exactly what to expect. The hotel was perfect for our one night stay-I'd recommend it to anyone wishing to stay in London for a short period.”

Room was a bit dark

No proper eating facilities

Close to Westminster Abbey and train station. Nice little Pub/Restaurant below. Nice and quiet.
Room was a little small but the bed was big.

“We were under the impression from the internet that our room would have a hide a bed in the couch. Our room did not have a couch or hide a bed. But, we managed. The room was quiet. There also was a mix up in the continental breakfast, we were told at the front desk that we would get a free continental breakfast on Sat and Sun, but we were charged for it. Overall, our stay was nice and we would stay there again.”
