Killarney was discovered as a picturesque and peaceful haven by the monks in the Middle Ages and by the governing English Overlords as early as the 16th century. Its fame as an internationally renowned tourist destination dates from the visit of Queen Victoria. Killarney is now Irelands most popular tourist destination and has an impressive range of attractions to support its world famous claim. There is the spectacular scenery where lakes, mountains, waterfalls and parkland blend into a majestic pastoral tapestry. Then there is the town, bustling with energy with its shops, pubs and lively entertainment. The management and staff would like to welcome you to the Castlerosse Hotel and Suites that offer unique conference, banqueting and leisure facilities as well as superb accommodation. The pastoral and wooded landscapes provide idyllic lakeside walks through the hotels own grounds and the adjoining National Park. Our hotel is perfect for exploring the beautiful town or relaxing and taking in the unique ambience and stunning scenery that this region has to offer. The management and staff at Castlerosse Hotel Killarney are devoted to making your stay as welcoming as possible, and look forward to greeting and helping our guests.[less]

Nice staff, great location.
Rooms are/can be far away from lobby, pub, and dining area.
“Beautiful location, great live entertainment in the pub at night. There can be a lot of tourists (buses) but there wasn't too much of a hoard or people. You can go of for a nice walk, or explore the grounds with no problem.”
