“As with all Campanile hotels, this hotel gives excellent value for money, rooms are basic but clean, and the standard of food available is good . . . .If you are looking for a good nights sleep with reasonably priced food Campanile are great . . . .”

• Hotel is good and very secure (almost as secure as a prison, you have to buzz yourself in through imposing gates). Parking was good and convenient.
• Beds have very soft matresses, which means that if you have a bad back, this is a definite no no.

“Good hotel, clean and friendly with excellent parking and good service and food. Only the soft matresses are a bit of a let-down.”

• Everything was in the standard that i expected.
• I would give Campaline Hotel 8/10 for the service i received while i was staying there.

“First and foremost i knew Campaline Hotel was newly built and therefore i was expecting a very good standard.All i can say is that it was good value for money.”

• Clean, very spacious and quiet.
• My evening meal in the Bistro was quite poor.

“Although the evening meal was not great, the buffet breakfast was good. Overall, the accommodation was satisfactory, and the staff were very helpful and polite.”

• ROOMY COMFORTABLE
• FOUND IT DIFFICULT TO GET IN AND OUT BECAUSE OF SECURITY DOORS. NO CLEAR SIGNS TO SAY WHERE MAIN ENTRANCE IS.

• Decor of both the hotel and rooms was excellent

“We read the comments about poor directions and printed maps from multimap.co.uk however we still went past the hotel as you need to exist the one-way system before the last bend/flyover.”

• Central and offered restauarant and bar facilities on site.
• English breakfast dissappointing.

“I usually stay in Travel Inns as they have a standard size and cleanliness of room. Having not used a Campanile before I was unaware of the chain at all and it compared well. A great benefit having somewhere decent to eat in the evening although the english breakfast was dissappointing. A shroud on the basin tap was missing and I would have liked a bit more oomph from the shower. Will definitely look at Campaniles as an alternative.”

• New hotel, therefore in good condition. Economical and convenient for 1/2 nights
• Food indifferent esp. buffet; indifferent bar service with v.prompt closing

“An economical, new hotel with low quality service & facilities in accordance with the price. Good for 1/2 nights quick stay but not much longer...”

• would have liked to be able to have opened the window!

“The room was fine, but as I stated above I wanted to open the window. I like fresh air & there was no aparrent way of cooling down in the room that I was aware of. Also as I had made the booking for the two rooms many weeks in advance it would have been preferable to have both parties on the same floor! We were on different floors.”

• Tv reception poor, bad directions to find hotel.

“Unfriendly check in staff...not exactly a warm welcome! Good quality accommodation. Overall fine perhaps the receptionist was having a bad day!”
