  • Country hotel atmosphere
  • The choice and loudness of the music. All the guests said the same.

“The music, in short burst among other general music would have been acceptable. But constant repetition of the same tape, was significantly intrusive.
The bedroom decor was tired.
The general ambiance of the hotel was good.”

  • Hotel was st in amazing grounds. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.
  • Decor of room required updating. Room was too cold.

“I would have liked to have seen better photographs of the rooms on the website. The staff were very welcoming and the food was second to none. Great value for money.”

  • A beautiful Georgian mansion in a lovely setting. Good food and friendly staff.
  • No complaints.

“This is a lovely hotel with character owned by the Civil Service Motoring Association, but don't let that put you off. We (not Civil Servants)had an excellent stay with good food, friendly staff and some top notch entertainment thrown in (Valentine's Dinner). Would definately go again, maybe in summer when the facilities in the grounds would be at their best.”
