• The staff was excellent, very friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast, conveniently located to bus stop.
• Hard beds, small shower space, no water pressure or elevator.

“Mixed review on this lovely guest house - American travelers should be notified that this is a guest house, like a bed and breakfast - not your typical hotel. Some guest had shared bathroom facilities. You must request a bathroom in your room. It is not in a downtown location, but is quite close to the city centre. The staff was excellent and very accommodating. It felt very personal. It really depends on what kind of experience you want - corporate hotel, or quaint and home feeling.”

• Romantic - room was adorable.
• Shower water pressure.

“Very romantic, cute hotel. Good breakfast and service. Loved Edinburgh so much - hotel added to our trip greatly.”

• It was not a hotel it was a b&b. so breakfast was included.
• I paid 175.00.

“This is a small b&b in a residential area just south of city center public transportation is great in Edinburgh we had a bus stop right outside our door. the manager is very helpful and loves her job.”

• further from edinburgh centre than thought, on very noisy busy road

“nice and clean, near to city centre but not in walking distance.
Outside traffic very busy, therfore bedroom noisy.No bar facilities.”

• The staff were very curtious. The hotel was centrally located.
• It was warm in our room. We are used to air conditioning. It also was noisy from the street noise. We had a hard time sleeping.

“I would have liked better driving directions to the hotel fom the airport. It was hard getting around the one way streets. We didn't know where to park either.”
