• The cleanliness of the room and hotel in general. Location to the train and bus station as I did not have my own transport.
• Although they stated it was a non smoking room, it did have a definite residue of cigarette smell. This may have been from a former client that did not comply with the non smoking rule. However, the proprietors did offer a change of room for me.

“the website informed me of all I needed to know for my stay. It did state that it was close to the station and that the area was somewhat tired, but the hotel itself was well kept with clean and tidy rooms. It was good value for money. Although it was not right in the township, and this was not stated on the website, I did my own homework prior to booking and being closer to the train station was of more importance to my needs.”

• great location, clean, friendly staff, cute & quiet pets and baby
• breakfast a little simple for the price

“We loved this hotel! The family who runs it is very friendly and speak enough English to be helpful. They have 2 dogs, a cat and a baby who were all well-behaved and quiet. Hotel is clean - I have animal allergies but had no problems here. It's close to the train/bus, chateau, and old part of town, and is walking distance from a large supermarket if you need supplies. Try the bakery around the corner for breakfast, though. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.”

• excellent accueil et gentillesse du personnel, petit dTjeuner copieux, calme
• salle d'eau un peu Ttroite, stationnement en voirie

“ProximitT immTdiate de la gare de Blois, du centre ville et du chateau, tout en Ttant au calme (environnement urbain en reconversion et situation en surplomb par rapport aux voies ferrTes). Personnel attentionnT et ambiance chaleureuse. En revanche, confort spartiate pour les sanitaires. Literie trFs correcte.”

• I like to have information in order to make a choice
• the room equipment was poor and in the begining the hotel owners not very friendly

“I woold like to have a clear picture of the quality and the quantity of my accommondation. Everything must be clear in order to obtain a s clear as possible view before booking.”

• petit dej, lit au carrT, surtout l'accueil
• pas de restauration le soir.

“rien de spTcial a ajouter : l'accueil Ttait excellent, la chambre Ttait propre mais il est dommage qu'il n'y ait pas eu de restauration le soir, cela oblige a ressortir le soir pour aller manger. Sinon, rien a redire.”

• No designated hotel parking.

“Good central location. Basic and perfectly adequate accommodation, especially for an overnight stay. Staff were friendly and efficient.”
