“At the price I paid and given the fact I only stayed 1 night the overall experience was acceptable.The breakfast was excellent,the decoration apeared a little tired and I thought the facilities for a 3* were a little dated.The location of the hotel I felt”

“This is a hotel with a lot of character (and sqeaky floorboards to go with it). My room was cleaned to a very high standard, was comfortable and had a wonderfull view over towards the Abbey. The TV, though, was one of those small, portable types hanging f”

“I knew the parking was limited, but found it worse than I imagined, particularly as when parking opposite our room, the pigeons were somewhat overactive. However the staff were quick to respond to a request for cloth, water and bucket!”

“The detail before arriving was fine, although the directions were inadequate for arriving after dark. Turn left at a wooden sign doesn't work if you cannot spot the wooden sign.
A sample of the menu would have been a nice bonus”

“the hotel was lovely ,as were the staff and food and decor of the room , the only complaint was parking spaces , on the day i was there builders had a skip and equipment taken up 2 places.”
