Hedley House Hotel is situated in a quiet residential area within an easy eight minute walk to the centre of York. It has been under the same family ownership since 1984. Most rooms have recently been refurbished.All rooms are en-suite most with bath and shower, hospitality tray and colour television. We have a lounge bar for the exclusive use of our guests and we serve home cooked evening meals and snacks. We now have a BBQ area and a 6 person outdoor aqua spa on a garden deck for your enjoyment! New conference facilities have been added and we can cater for up to 14 delegates. We also have several self-catering apartments available for your stay in York. Hedley House is a family run hotel which has been in the same ownership since 1984. It was tastefully converted that year from two Victorian town houses. It is located in a quiet residential area just outside the city walls. It has its own car park and lock up garages, important in York where parking is at a premium. It is an easy walk into the City Centre of about eight minutes.[less]

The room was Brilliant with everything you would expect.

“It wasnt far from the train station and the walk to the City centre was a good walk but easily done.This hotel is really impressive and shouldnt be a 2 star hotel. The staff were friendly and welcoming.Plenty of information supplied if your a first time visitor to York and made my time in york extra special.the spa in the garden was amazing but the weather was too cold for me to enjoy it.Hotel is ideal for families and young and old members and im looking forward to my second stay.”
