Chombeys is a stylish farmhouse, overlooking the village green at Tollerton- only 15 minutes from York City. The village is in the heart of the Vale of York and just off the A19 - so an ideal base for North Yorkshire.Chombeys is a comfortable house on 3 floors, with gas central heating throughout. The bedrooms are good sized. They all have tea and coffee making facilities and colour television. There is a separate lounge available to guests. Breakfasts - served from 7-9 a.m. - feature local produce and are cooked on an Aga. Chombeys prides itself on giving good service and tries to accommodate any special requirements that guests may have.[less]

Comfortable beds, clean linen and towels.
No en-suite, poor car parking, location/provision of bathroom and facilities

“Bathroom not only not en-suite but also shared with aother room and the owner's family. No coffee-making facilities as no water availabe except from downstairs bathroom. Toilet door opposite dining room door. Entrance to property by a back lane, very difficult to locate as no sign visible. (Drove past 3 times).
Hotel quiet and restful. Towels clean with hotel name embroidered. Fresh towls each day.”
