• It was very clean and upto date, also the staff were very friendly and informative.
• There was nothing I didn't like but it would have been nice to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

“I would definately reccomend this hotel to others. I was a bit worried about going to Amsterdam initially as I have heard very bad reviews about the standard of hotels. I couldn't fault the hotel we stayed in. The room was very clean and the decor upto date, it looked like the bathrooms had been recently renovated. We only stayed for two nights but someone came to our room daily to clean up and change the towels. At ?u80.00 per night, per room it was very reasonably priced and very good value for money for the standard of accomodation. People may be put off by this hotel due to the distance away from the red light district but I thought this was an added bonus. It was a very nice walk into Leidsplein (excuse the spelling!) and took around 10 mins (strolling) if you're not keen on walking there is a tram stop just outside the hotel which are very regular and cheap!

Overall I had a fantastic time in Amstersdam and I would definately reccomend this hotel and stay there again if I was to visit again.”

• The room was clean & quiet, the staff were very helpful & friendly, breakfast was good
• No lift - stairs were very narrow and steep. Room was very small and had no hot drink facilities.

“As I have a minor back and knee problem, I would like to have been pre-warned that there was no lift.
The room was very small, but comfortable.
The fact that the whole hotel was clean and fresh, and 'non smoking' was a big plus factor; but sadly, these positive features were cancelled out by the negatives.
I would recommend the hotel only to young fit people, not to my 'middle aged' friends.”
